Welcome!

My interest for nutritional sciences started in high school when I was the friend with the huge, healthy lunch. I ended up giving much of it away to friends who only had cookies or fries in order for them to have a more balanced meal! I understood from a young age how food can influence your mood, your energy level and overall well being. The idea of working with my friends helped spark this venture but it also reinforced the concept of a multi-disciplinary approach. I doubt I would have started this without them!

After high school, I graduated from Ryerson University, in Toronto, Ontario with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Nutrition. I then had the opportunity to complete my dietetic internship from the Toronto Shared Internship from Lakeridge Health. My first job was working as a renal dietitian (in hospital) which taught me the importance of nutrition and how this will impact your outcome later in life. I have also worked as a home care dietitian, a Diabetes Educator (Certified in 2022) and in a medical practice seeing a variety of patients with different conditions and diseases including bariatric patients.

With my clients, I will advise depending on individual needs based on living conditions, food preferences, food intolerances, past and current medical history, stage of lifecycle, or special diets (diabetes, vegetarian, vegan, wheat intolerance, allergies). I can devise realistic goals, strategies to eat well on the go, how to meal plan, and most importantly how to turn these changes into lifelong habits.

My passion stems from the success I see from my clients, and how my teachings have positively impacted their health. I have witnessed incredible changes from my clients; from some losing 40 lbs., to others reversing their Type 2 diabetes. I love seeing how these changes can benefit other areas in life and I am so excited to take this next step with you!
